Usage for Figma import

Install Python

Python is required for the server to operate. Instructions for installing Python on different operating systems: macOS, Windows, Linux.

The MCP server functionality has only been tested on Windows. If you are a macOS or Linux user and need to set up the MCP server, please contact the developer - we’ll figure something out.

Enable IDE support

Enable support for the IDEs you plan to use with the Converter MCP server. During activation, the IDE config file will be modified. A backup of the config will be created automatically.

Start the server

Click the Start button at the bottom of the window.

Start the import

Open the Agent dialog in your IDE and ask it to import your Figma project. After that, the Agent will prompt you to select specific pages or frames for import.

Follow the Agent’s further instructions to complete the import successfully. If you encounter any difficulties while working with the Agent, please notify the developer.
